NBB Gold Sponsor at the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) participated in the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition as a Gold sponsor. Held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the 3-day event took place at Exhibition World Bahrain, and was the largest gathering of cybersecurity professionals in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

To further promote the importance of cyber resilience, members of NBB’s staff took part in a number of sessions during the summit. Ali AlMajed, Group Chief Information Security Officer, spoke on Vendor Risk Management; Ali Al Saegh, Group Head of Cyber Security and Access Management, participated on day one of the event in the Government, Industry and Academia Collaboration on Resilient Infrastructure panel, and NBB’s IT Security Specialist, Eng. Amina Khaled Hejres, took part in the Whole of Society Collaboration to Tackle Cyber Crime panel on the third day of the conference and exhibition.

Following the rapid increase in digitalisation, NBB reiterates its commitment to fighting potential cybersecurity threats through systematic upgrades and strategic partnerships with international cybersecurity institutes. The conference and exhibition served as a knowledge sharing platform with the attendance of global experts and thousands of C-level and cybersecurity professionals.
