The Central Bank of Bahrain launched a nationwide E-Cheque Service where electronic cheques are issued and signed electronically.

All retail banks in Bahrain will be providing this service to their customers.
Who is eligible for the E-Cheque service?
All customers eligible for a paper chequebook can obtain an electronic chequebook and issue E-Cheques.
All customers who have a bank account in Bahrain can register for the service to deposit E-Cheques.
How do I apply for the E-Cheque service?
1. Retail Customers
As an individual retail customer you can register for the service using BenefitPay. Active current accounts can be used to request an electronic chequebook and issue E-Cheques, other accounts can be used for depositing E-Cheques.
2. Non-Enterprise Customers
Customers with Joint Accounts, Power of Attorneys, and Single Person Companies can register by visiting a branch and filling in the required forms.
Once registered, customers need to download a dedicated App e:cheque from Benefit to access the service.
3. Enterprise Customers
SMEs, Corporate and Commercial customers can register by filling in the required forms through their Relationship Manager or at a branch.
