NBB Unveils Al Watani Savings Scheme Prizes for 2023

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has launched its range of cash prizes for the 22nd edition of Al Watani Savings Scheme 2023. Following the success of last year’s prize scheme, the Bank will be launching major monthly cash prizes and two grand prizes in July and December, enabling more of its customers to win lucrative rewards throughout the year.

As part of its ongoing commitment to deliver rewarding customer-centric services, the Bank has restructured its prize scheme to encompass a large number of winners and offer customers more opportunities to win. NBB will reward 110 winners in 2023, giving customers chances to win prizes ranging from USD $10,000 to USD $1,000,000. The refreshed scheme will also include a USD $1 million grand prize in July to be distributed to 100 lucky winners, and the year-end grand prize of USD $2 million for 2 winners (USD $1,000,000 for each winner).

And what makes the Al Watani Savings Scheme is that customers are entitled one entry into the draw for every BHD 50 saved into any of the eligible NBB accounts including SaveWave, Express Saver, and the newly introduced, Al Mumayaz account which was also added on the list of eligible accounts to enter the Al Watani Savings Scheme

Commenting on the occasion, Subah Abdullatif Al Zayani, Chief Executive Retail Banking at NBB, said: “Al Watani Savings scheme has been the ideal platform to encourage our customers to adopt a culture of saving in their day-to-day lives. On his end, Ahmed Al Maskati, Head of Retail Products at NBB, said: “We are delighted to be unveiling our cash prizes for this year’s Al Watani Savings scheme, which aims to give our customers more chance to win over the course of the year.  The programme has the flexibility for customers to win from their personal accounts without the need to open a dedicated account, as all those that have personal accounts with NBB including SaveWave, Express Saver, and the newly introduced, Al Mumayaz account that has been recently launched can use the account and get a chance to win all at once.

Al Watani Saving Scheme offers annual profits, no closed certificate requirements with the flexibility of unlimited withdrawals and easy transfers of deposits. Customers can complete their deposits through any of the Bank’s 21 branches or through the Digital Banking app, in addition to being rewarded for interest payments paid out on their savings in the Express Savers, SaveWave and Al Mumayaz accounts.
