The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Naseej BSC, whereby both companies will work to provide exceptional benefits for shared clients who wish to invest in a property under the Naseej real-estate projects.

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has announced its sponsorship of the 16th annual summer programme, “Our Nation and Our King Bring Us Together,” organised by the administration of the Northern Governorate. The initiative aims to develop a sense of belonging, instill citizenship values and align educational systems with the labour market. The programme also works to promote healthy development as part of the Healthy Cities Programme, as well as support programmes for people of determination.

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) recently collaborated with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Youth Affairs to host a three-day Financial Literacy Workshop for the students of the Gifted Students Center. The initiative, which was held at the Muharraq Model Youth Center, was designed to build a foundation for financial awareness amongst the gifted youth as a key skill for their future.

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) continues to support the Smile Initiative – an initiative of Bahrain Future Society for Youth which provides psychosocial support to children with cancer and their parents in the Kingdom. NBB’s benefaction will enable the children to benefit from extensive social programmes, engagement and leisure activities to uplift their spirits.

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has partnered with Gulf Hotel to provide its Credit and Prepaid cardholders with 15% discounts in all Food and Beverage outlets within the hotel. The offer is valid until the end of December 2023, and customers can view the list of participating restaurants through the Points by NBB app.

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has officially inaugurated its summer internship programme, Evolve, in an opening ceremony hosted on 12th July 2023, at NBB’s headquarters. The event was attended by NBB’s Group CEO, Usman Ahmed, members of the executive management, as well as representatives from Mumtalakat and participating school students.

The bank sponsored the Signature Award for “Excellence in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)” presented to “JusTap” from the British University of Bahrain”.  During the event the Entaliq winners were presented with a cheque to help finance their future projects.

The various organisations will offer their expertise by providing training sessions for the high school and university students.

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) recently contributed to the Bahrain Reproductive Health & Family Planning Association as part of its Donations and Contributions Programme and commitment to social responsibility.

NBB’s donation will further support the Association’s various awareness sessions, workshops, seminars, training programmes and the recruitment of doctors and instructors with extensive knowledge on reproductive health.
