NBB today announced that it is set to host a Forum for SMEs in line with the Bank’s upcoming roll out its new and enhanced business online banking platform, which is currently in the beta testing phase and will become available to all business customers as of 26th, June.

National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) today announced the successful completion of the first phase of its cloud adoption with the migration of its website (nbbonline.com) to Amazon Web Services (AWS). This comes as NBB accelerates its digital transformation, with plans underway to migrate the bank’s intranet and online banking platform to the cloud. Infonas, an AWS Standard Consulting Partner, undertook the migration of the website.

National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) continues to record robust financial results reporting a 15.9% rise in Net Profit to BD 36.79 million (US$ 97.85 million) compared to BD 31.74 million (US$ 84.41 million) for the corresponding period of 2017. These results were achieved due to strong improvement in net interest income linked to growth in loans and advances and improved net interest margin on the back of better asset liability management.
