The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) was recently honoured at INJAZ Bahrain’s Annual Appreciation Event which was held at the Sofitel Bahrain, Zallaq.

The event was hosted by Her Highness Sheikha Hessa Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain who delivered the opening address and then bestowed honours on individuals and organisations who have supported INJAZ Bahrain’s initiatives.

NBB Group, comprising of the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) and Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), has been recognised at the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) Middle East Awards 2023 for the fourth year running. Two NBB Group employees received individual awards at the virtual ceremony, which took place on the 31st of August.

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has announced Hasan A.Hussain Hasan as the winner of USD 100,000 in the Al Watani Savings Scheme August draw.

NBB has increased the number of winners for the monthly draws, providing more opportunities for the Bank’s customers to win cash prizes from USD 10,000 up to USD 1,000,000. Each deposit of BHD 50 into NBB’s SaveWave, Express Saver or Al Mumayaz accounts, will give customers one chance to win.

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) recently welcomed representatives of the AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) to its headquarters where they collaborated with the bank on a financial literacy workshop for students aged 14 to 16. The session was led by NBB employee Yusuf Almeer, who helped inform the students on the aspects of financial literacy pertaining to Bahrain’s financial services industry, as well as providing financial advice on subjects such as; personal finances, investment, budgeting and savings.

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has kicked off its newest campaign ‘It’s All About Winning Back’ which rewards its MasterCard and VISA Credit Cardholders with cashback. The campaign, which was launched on the 1st of September, will conclude on the 31st of December and gives NBB Credit Cardholders a chance to win their purchases as cashback every month by redeeming their Base Points on the Points by NBB App. Customers will also be able to redeem their purchases by transferring their cash points to their Credit Cards through the App.

Representatives from the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) recently visited the Future Society for Youth’s headquarters to support the launch of the Smile Initiative. The launch was attended by a number of dignitaries as well as representatives from the media. The campaign’s launch was arranged to coincide with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (September), which provides an annual opportunity to raise awareness on the challenges that children with cancer face.

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has announced a further extension of its ‘Al Ghalya’ Credit Card campaign until the end of the year. The campaign was first launched in March and was subsequently extended until September. Having witnessed unprecedented demand and positive feedback, the Bank will now continue to run the campaign until the 31st of December 2023.
